I tried going to my local store to see if they have any, but with no luck, the only thing I could find is Lego mini-figures series and some sets contains people mini-figs. So I was wondering if there is a place where I can find Lego soldiers online. I mostly need German and American soldiers from WWII.

I've always been into wilderness survival and first-aid and cpr, and about a year ago I got a book titled "The Ultimate Guide to U.S. Army Survival. Skills, Tactics, and Techniques" Or is there a different kit now because this was published in 2007.
It says in chapter 1 "Fundamental Criteria for First Aid" that
1. "Every soldier is issued a first aid case with a field first aid dressing encased in a plastic wrapper."
2. "A General Purpose First Aid Kit (one General purpose [rigid case and panel-mounted])"
It also lists some other stuff that they have in general that someone could just buy separately.

P.S. I love the army, one of my cousins is a Major.

I had this weird dream yesterday. I was a spy/agent and I was informed on this ship there was this army and the leader keeps heads of people( basically the heads of the people all liked the same and the bodies without their heads in this freezer room and then my leader sent me a picture inside the freezer with the heads of people and bodies then I had to go undercover on the ship( it was a starship in space) undercover dressed as a soldier so then when I got onto the ship I asked to go to the bathroom and then one of the agents dressed as a soldier talked to that soldier to distract her then I sneaked to the freezer room the on their was lots of plastic rap around the door and the door had the cover of mj's album dangerous so then I teared down the raping paper and then I went into the freezer and I saw lots of neo pets posters and toys and toy cars and heads and bodies of people so then I took a picture of the inside of the freezer then I taped the raping paper back and then i went back to the soldier who said that I can go to the bathroom and then I escaped the starship with the undercover agent. My life is good and I'm happy plus I don't watch star wars and movies like that including horror movies and I also dont play neo pets and I am a huge fan of mj.

Here's my list.

1) United States – No match. The United States has the most advanced and powerful military technology and weapons. They have some of the best trained forces, if not the best. Best navy and best air force. Large army with state-of-the-art weaponry and training.

2) Russia – The troops receive tough training. Russian arms are somewhat good. The nation doesn’t have the worst weapons, but they aren’t anything to brag about. They still have a lot of outdated Soviet-era equipment. Still, Russia is among few countries that are fully indigenous in the defense industry and is one of the top arms exporters in the world. They have the most tanks of any country and the second most fighter aircraft.

3) China – China and Russia often swing back and forth between second and third place. China is more focused on the number of troops than the quality. They have the most active troops in the world and the largest army in terms of active-duty soldiers. Imports weaponry from Russia and is known to improve on Russian-made weapons, such as aircraft and missiles. Although they have more troops than the United States does, they fall to third place because they lack in both training and quality of weapons.

4) India – Because India has a combination of Russian, American, and Israeli weapons, they are a top competitor on the world stage. They have a very large army, but like China, the number of troops is a bigger advantage to them than the quality of the weapons they have.

5) South Korea – South Korea has maintained a large military since the Korean War in order to fend-off another possible invasion from the North. The South has modernized its military, unlike the North. They import American arms, while North Korea still has outdated Soviet equipment. The North Korean Military has more troops, but South Korea’s is more powerful, as they have much better weapons. In case of a second war, South Korea would be able to defend themselves this time.

6) Israel – This is no push over. They have the greatest security concerns of any country in the world. Israel has been fighting since the nation’s founding in 1948. The first Arab-Israeli War started the day after statehood was declared. Several Arab countries sent contingencies to go destroy Israel, but the Israelis won. There have been 3 more Arab-Israeli wars since then and many more military engagements. The Six-Day War was won decisively. In the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, the Israelis got off to a bad start, but then turned it around and won easily. They even penetrated father into Syrian and Egyptian territory than they did last time.

Israel has possibly the best-trained forces in the world. They’re also known to make their own weapons, which are pretty advanced, but still rely on American imports. They can win a short-term war, but can’t fight a long-term one. That’s why they fall behind the countries ahead of them.

7) United Kingdom – Britain has a long history of going to war and winning their fights. The training that their forces receive is on-par with the U.S. Forces. Their weapons are also close to equal to American weapons. Like their American counterparts, they too have a powerful navy and a powerful air force. The British Military is like a miniature version of the U.S. Military.

France – The French and British militaries are about equal in power, with the British having only a slight edge. In the whole service, France has only slightly more troops. In addition to having similar numbers of troops, the two nations spend almost the same amount of money on defense. All things equal, better training and better equipment put Britain ahead, but not by much.

9) Turkey – The successor state of the Ottoman Empire, Turkey has a reputation for having a fierce fighting force. They have a lot of arms imported from various NATO countries. The Turkish Military is fairly modernized, especially when compared to the other Muslim countries in the Middle East. And due to military cooperation with Israel, Turkey has been able to reach the top 10 militaries of the world.
10) Germany – Since the aftermath of World War 2, Germany has been banned from having a large military, which has bumped them down the list. They are a member of NATO. NATO’s original goal was “to keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down”. Germany was the most powerful country in the world at the beginning of World War 1, since they had the second largest army and were the most advanced in research and development at the time. After the war, they were forced to strip their army down to 100,000 troops and pay major reparations to the allies. As a result, Germany lost its great power status. The United States then became the number one world power. By the time Germany re-armed in the 1930s, they had regained their status of military supremacy. Many people would argue that Hitler’s biggest mistake in World War 2 was invading the Soviet Union. 80% of the German war effort was on the Eastern Front. Germany was taking on the British, the Americans, and the Russians all a
at the same time, which proved to be too much. Like last time, Germany had their army stripped down to a relatively small number and lost its great power status. The United States once again was the number one world power.

In the present day, Germany has not caught up with Britain or the United States in advancement of their military. But they still have a pretty powerful military. And that’s why they’re at number 10.

Robertsontroy54, to address your comment, Canada and Australia have small militaries. Australia troops are well trained and I imagine Canadians are too, but those countries' militaries aren't big enough. As for Japan, their military isn't big enough either. I did rank them as #13 on my top 20 though. They've got a good army and a good navy, but not good enough to be on the top 10. Here's 11 through 20, although I'm not really sure myself about that part of the list. 11) Brazil 12) Taiwan 13) Japan 14) Pakistan 15) Egypt 16) Italy 17) Indonesia
18) Thailand 19) Ukraine 20) North Korea

I got a toy for Christmas when I was about 10 years old (about 10 years ago), and I've wanted to track down another copy ever since I lost it, but I don't have any idea what the name was or any pictures left. The toy was a plastic black sphere about the size of a basketball, which opened up to reveal a Death Star-like space station setting inside. It came with a lot of little figurines, about the size of a Monopoly player token, which were tiny armored red and blue soldiers. There was also a single black figurine, which had a cape. The pieces could bend at the hips, but were otherwise unposable.

I lost the last of the pieces to this a while back, and I've been trying to figure it out ever since... I remember it being really cool, and I hope that's not nostalgia filter. Sorry I don't remember any more than this... does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
Just to clarify, this is not an actual Star Wars product, but it looked similar in concept to the Death Star. It was *extremely* similar to the product StarLight238 linked to, but more like a generic copy of that.
